No morning like a Keeneland morning

Few things are more “Kentucky” than horse racing. Lexington, known as the horse capital of the world, hosts one of, if not , the most beautiful horse tracks in the U.S. and the world in Keeneland. Over the past month, with the help of an awesome class schedule have been heading out to the track nearly every morning making photos. From workouts out to baths and everything in between the races. While most of them are just “pretty pictures” and don’t have much substance I enjoy the challenge of making something different than the day before. In addition to normal morning workouts, Kentucky Derby favorite and undefeated champion, Nyquist, has been training at Keeneland leading up to “the fastest two minutes in sports” on May 7th at Churchill Downs. I look forward to covering the workouts at Churchill starting this weekend into next week in preparation for next Saturday’s race. Thanks for looking and check back for more from Derby and Oaks next week!
